What is the Democratization of Mental Wellness Foundation (DMWF)?

The Democratization of Mental Wellness Foundation (DMWF) is a Delaware-registered social enterprise operating internationally.

DMWF exists to expand access to tools that help students align their daily actions with futures they have chosen for themselves.

The Foundation funds access, coordinates implementation, and maintains ethical and operational oversight of its pilot initiatives.

DMWF does not provide clinical care, diagnosis, or treatment.

What does my contribution support?

Contributions help expand student access to the Global Student Resilience Pilot, including:

• student access to approved resilience-supporting tools and program experiences

• program coordination, delivery, and implementation

• observation, learning, and evaluation of pilot outcomes

• operational infrastructure required to run and expand the initiative responsibly

As a social enterprise, DMWF uses funding and program revenue to advance its mission, strengthen delivery capacity, and expand future pilot access.

All support is directed toward building and scaling proactive mental wellness infrastructure for students.

Why is the amount $300 per student?

The $300 amount reflects the annual licensing cost required to provide one student with access to approved wellness-supporting tools for one year.

Smaller contributions combine collectively to fund full student licenses.

Is DMWF a nonprofit organization?

No.

DMWF operates as a social enterprise registered in Delaware, United States.

The Foundation exists to advance public benefit through scalable access initiatives while maintaining operational independence and financial sustainability.

Does DMWF develop or sell technology?

No.

DMWF does not develop, sell, or own technology.

The Foundation funds access to approved tools and maintains separation between funding activities and technology providers.

Does DMWF collect personal mental health data?

No.

DMWF does not collect, store, or process personal mental health data.

The Foundation supports privacy-respecting access models designed to operate without requiring personally identifying psychological information.

Participation in funded programs is voluntary and private.

Is DMWF providing therapy or medical treatment?

No.

DMWF is not a clinical provider and does not offer therapy, diagnosis, or medical treatment.

The Foundation funds access to self-directed wellness-supporting tools and does not direct or monitor individual participant outcomes.

How are students selected?

Student participation is coordinated through program partners and structured pilot implementation models.

Selection is based on program availability and implementation capacity.

DMWF does not require students to disclose private psychological or medical information to participate.

Why is the pilot focused on five countries?

The pilot includes students in:

United States

Canada

United Kingdom

Australia

New Zealand

These countries were selected to ensure:

• operational feasibility

• reliable coordination

• regulatory clarity

• appropriate oversight during the pilot phase

The pilot model is designed to support future expansion.

How is DMWF accountable for use of funds?

DMWF operates with governance and financial oversight procedures designed to ensure responsible stewardship of all contributions and program revenue.

These include:

• documented financial review and approval procedures
• conflict-of-interest safeguards
• operational separation between the Foundation’s mission activities and external technology providers
• internal compliance and accountability standards

DMWF’s governance structure is designed to ensure that resources are used to advance the Foundation’s mission while maintaining operational transparency and responsible management.
